Toni Tapalovi is a coach, but he is recognized for something else, which we shall learn about below.
Toni Tapalovi was born on October 10, 1980. Tapalovic signed with Kickers Offenbach in December 2005, however, he did not play for the club.
In 2006, he returned to FC Schalke 04 as a player. When Frank Rost departed the squad in January 2007, Tapalovic stepped in as the team's backup goalkeeper once more.
In 2010, he joined the second squad of FSV Mainz 05, a German Bundesliga club.
Tapalovic retired in October 2010 after a test indicated a damaged ACL and a broken medial collateral ligament, requiring him to miss six months of play.
On July 1, 2011, he was recruited as Bayern Munich's goalkeeping coach. He is under contract with Bayern Munich until June 30, 2021.
He later extended his contract until 2023 due to the success of his work with Manuel Neuer.
